Top 5 Hikes in Central Oregon

We are lucky enough to call Central Oregon home!

These are some of our favorite hikes around Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties.

1. South Sister

Beautiful views are the result of this tough hike. It is an 11.6 mile round trip hike beginning at Devil’s Lake Trailhead.

2. Deschutes River Trail

Deschutes River trail is a very easy hike for the beginner and it is just a half hour from Redmond Oregon!

3. Cline Falls State Scenic Viewpoint

Enjoy the beautiful falls on this short hike (1/4 mile) located between Redmond and Sisters, OR.

4. Smith Rock State Park

This state park is full of beautiful hikes in Oregon’s high desert. Misery Ridge is one of our favorite routes and on a clear day you can see Mt Adams! Plus, it is dog friendly!

5. Steelhead Falls

Steelhead Falls is a great place for fishing and an easy hike!
