Atlas Realty's top 5 favorite eateries in Central Oregon

I’m getting hungry already…

For those that don’t know, Jeff and I are big foodies! We love anything from taco trucks to fine dining and have compiled our top five eateries in Central Oregon. We love each one for different reasons and hope you will too! Here goes…

1-      Ariana Restaurant

If you are looking for fine dining and have time to book in advance, Ariana Restaurant in Bend is the way to go. With COVID only allowing restaurants to operate at 25% capacity, you will need to book around one month out. Jeff and I save this place for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays because it will set you back $$$$. My recommendation is to be adventurous and try the chefs tasting menu. They have the best cocktails too!

2-      The Blacksmith Restaurant – Steakhouse + Bar + Lounge

If you want a nice dining experience and don’t want to break the bank, The Blacksmith restaurant would be our pick. This place made our list because we enjoy having a nice dinner with cocktails and dessert without breaking the bank. You also wont need reservations one month in advance here. One of my favorite things about this eatery is the location and overall ambiance.  When you arrive, you will know what I mean. The brick building situated in the heart of Bend says it all. The food…yum! My favorite item on the menu is the Polenta Caesar Salad (picture below).  Its worth giving a try if you are a caesar salad lover like me. Also pictured are the truffle-parmesan fries, beef carpaccio, cheese plate, and Rouge Mignon.

3-      El Sancho – East Side Taco Shop

El Sancho has a few locations like the west side burrito shop, and the taco shack at Crux Brewing however, our favorite place is the east side taco shop location. We always order a smorgasbord of tacos like the oaxaca green chili tacos, spicy mushroom tacos, pork carnitas tacos, and beef barbacoa tacos! These lovely little bites are $2.75-3.00 each so they won’t set you back and they hit the spot. Oh! The chilaquiles are fabulous too! And the best part…you can order booze!

4-      E Bar Grill – Contemporary Comfort food

Ok all…this is one of my favorites because it close to home (Redmond, OR), prices are great, and they have a nice selection. Jeff and I especially love sitting in the bar because they know what we want and the atmosphere is lively. We even bring clients here!

My favorite dish (it’s really tough to pick only one) is the Albacore Tuna Melt. I also love the cowgirl burger (goat cheese; yum), the pizzas (homemade and tossed), and the hazelnut crusted halibut with that yummy mango, pineapple salsa.

This place is awesome for a nice meal that wont break the bank and is my top choice for an evening where you can feel good about meeting up with others for a great/relaxing time.

5-      Madalines Grill

We love this place for many of the same reasons we love E Bar Grill. The atmosphere is always great, the service is excellent, the prices are great, and there is plenty of variety!

My favorites here are the quesadillas and fajitas. This place is another great restaurant to meet with clients or friends who like different types of food. Their menu boasts many options besides Mexican food (my favorite). They also have salads, burgers, steaks, seafood, and pasta.

Cocktails here are large, inexpensive, and delicious! Highly Recommend.
